Local: One Heart One Hand Resource Center

We understand that abundant flow occurs at all levels.
We understand that flow of monetary supply is not the same for all people.
We understand that sometimes what one needs is to have an item for short term – not as a permanent addition to their collection.
We understand that some items go in and out of publication.
For these reasons, and as a natural evolution of our offerings, we are pleased to provide for you a resource center where items taken out on loan.

We welcome you to join and access our One Heart One Hand Resource Center. Currently we have moved from our public location, and now have all items in storage. They are accessible by ordering through the store. We will have the item you ordered available for you within 24 hours to pick up from the store. We have a collection of resources dedicated to conscious living including: books, videos, DVD’s, CD’s, divination decks, and spiritual theme games. Feel free to call or email with a general request - and we will let you know what we have in that category. You may take the items out on loan for periods of 1 week intervals.

We are excited to announce the re-opening of a public location for our resource center by May 1, 2008.

Here is how the center will operate:

• on location hours will correspond to Holly Oak store hours
• you may sign out a maximum of two items for one week at a fee of $3 (+ GST) per item/per week
• you may purchase a membership to the resource center for $50/year (+ GST) which will allow you the following benefits:
  • Sign out a maximum of two items for one week intervals
  • Renew items signed out for an additional week
  • Renew yearly membership fee in subsequent years for $40/year
  • Put an item on hold to sign out when it is returned from being on loan
• memberships can be purchased for exchange, where the value of the exchange is equivalent to the dollar value of the membership. Please speak to Sandi for the form of exchange (ie. donation, volunteer hours, etc.)
• any items that are not returned will be charged to the holder following a process of communication and request for return. The charges will include cost to replace item and administrative fees.

Donations for the Resource Center:
We currently accept donations of new, gently used and out of print resources. We focus on resources that are connected to health, wellness, conscious living and green living. We also gladly accept any monetary donations that will assist us in continuing to increase the resources we can provide for the community.
